Last year I was honored to be asked to speak at the annual conference of The Arc of California, an organization which as their website puts it “promotes and protects the human rights of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.” But we all know about the best laid plans of 2020.
Thankfully, they welcomed me back in 2021 and I was happy to speak along side Butte County Sheriff’s Lt. Steve Collins and Butte County Director of the Department of Employment and Social Services (and longtime friend and Paradise resident) Shelby Boston.
